It's about to get real in week 4, folks. Bye weeks begin, and the rule of three weeks no longer applies. You need a special level of dedication to succeed now.
Lots of NFL teams were garbage week 3. Some fantasy scores reflected that very harshly… or maybe your team is bad because you suck, but probably it’s your players’ fault.
Yeah it’s your player’s fault

But seriously, Kelvin Benjamin….. 0 points pal
Nothing for me?
I can forgive you though

especially considering last week’s context.
Phil learned the hard way that sometimes nothing goes right

That’s the beauty of fantasy football though, you can drop 50 one week and 150 the next. Like how Adam Sandler can make Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore and still make Jack and Jill and Grown Ups 2.
Your undefeated QBs through 3 weeks:
Flacco
Garoppolo / Brissett
Hill / Bradford
Siemian
Wentz

Further proof that the NFL is a weird and unpredictable thing, possibly hatched from an aquarium in Mr. McCausland’s lab.
Week three was a strong showing by the Wubbalubbadubdub Division, which won all but one game in interleague play (way to go Nick).

Those four wins came by a combined 136.8 points (34.2 points per win), with the Division winning overall on the week by a net of 92.5 (18.5 points per game).
Week four and the beginning of the bye week have arrived. Some of those 3/4 game suspension and injury players are finding their ways back into lineups.
Get excited Pat Butler.

Stay strong as the season hits the quarter mark. The Waiver Wire is hot, like the block, and hopefully you aren’t already looking at your team like:

Plenty of skill position players involved in Thursday night’s matchup between the dolphins and Bengals.

Make sure to bench them if you have them so they get rested.
Don’t forget! Indianapolis and Jacksonville kick off Sunday’s slate of games at 9:30AM EST. The game is in England because money is the only thing that matters.

So if you have any of those players make sure you either set your roster early or don’t get too wasted Saturday night.
Without further ado.

Week 3 Review
I got broads in Atlanta RAHHHH 101.5 @ Winterfell Wolves 149
Atlanta had some momentum going into this one but that ended with Sunday’s first whistle. The Wolves had 4 players in the 1PM slot combine for 114.6 points and the game was over from there as Pittsburgh’s offense never got much going.
The North came to play:

Free Kodak 126.8 @ Genderfluid Nonbinary 136.7
The most competitive game of the week. Things looked pretty bleak for Kodak early as Kelvin Benjamin forgot to participate in Sunday’s activities ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But big performances by Gurley, Evans and Kelce left Genderfluid Nonbinary needing a solid Monday performance by Drew Brees for the win.
Kodak was poised for the upset and then Monday Night came along:

Can I Play Baseball Now 106 @ Kings of Leon 61.7
A Tough game for the Kings of Leon as Devante Parker was really the only player to show out. Although Mariota almost pulled negative points at QB for Sam, the old fashioned 2 RB carry put this game away early.
Sam scooped up all the points in this one like:

Mister Meeseeks 53 @ Harrisonburg 21-16 113.7
Phil had a tough week, between Delanie Walker being ruled out on like Friday and then FLEX being the sole double-digit point producing position. Jacob finally gets production from his top round picks.
The combined result:

Dicks Out For Harambe @ Regular Johnson
Dicks Out For Harambe had another tough week. Gr0nk and the receivers never got going; meanwhile, Zeke Elliot had another solid performance for Regular Johnson, boosted by solid Monday night efforts from Matt Ryan and Coby Fleener.
Johnson Cruzes:

Power Rankings

*as of 9/28 12:00P
The Winterfell Wolves make a dramatic jump 4 spots to number 2 in the rankings, taking over as the new top scoring team in the league.

They still need a loss from Joe (who moves up 2 spots this week's 1 spot) however to claim the top spot in the Wubbalubbadubdub Division. That Ho Ovah Myah suffered a slight setback in the poll, dropping to meet Regular Johnson who has been holding strong in 4th. Regular Johnson is still looking to breakthrough into the top tier.

Jacob and I flip flop a little in the middle of pack, one of us is actually in the playoffs right now though and one of isn’t

Meeseeks had a tough fall from glory, but a game in which you average 5.8 points per players will drop you 5 points in the poll and that’s just physics bruh.

Sam and Nick move opposite directions but still sit at the bottom of the totem poll. Still plenty of time to dig deep and decide to fight for the playoffs, or just pack it in.

DicksOutForHarambe still has last place on lock
Game of the Week
Harrisonburg 21-16 (2-1)

@
Genderfluid Nonbinary (3-0)

Line: Harrisonburg 21-16 -10.9
Much like the Panda dab squad of last week, Joe is straight chillin in 1st place.
Statistically speaking, auto-draft Joe shouldn’t be 3-0, but here he is

Much of Joe’s early success has come from Drew Brees getting back to his usual self this season. Throwing for 1,062 yards and 8 TDs already! That’s pace for 5,664 yards and 43TDs this season :o

And 14.8 points a game from T.Y. Hilton in a supporting role of ABoomin lifts the team to another level.

With Eddie Lacy on the bye, the Running Back position will have to be addressed via the waivers for this week’s divisional matchup.
Harrison 21-16 has been lead by last season’s fantasy MVP and weekly “weird hat guy” Cam Newton

And the Running Back duo of former Hoosier Tevin Coleman

and person you shouldn’t fuck with, Devonta Freeman

Jordan “The Drop” Matthews being on the bye opens up some interesting options at FLEX for 21-16.
Coaching decisions loom for a big divisional matchup, who is gonna fuck it up?

I don’t know what this is
This game is being played in at an inconvenient East Coast time on Monday Night, turn your TVs to channel 110 to watch.

Hunger Foul
Winterfell Wolves : 115.9 points
One of the few times winning the Hunger Foul is a positive. The Wolves handled business so much that they had the top-scoring lineup and bench in week 3. Although Chuck and his Atlanta Broads put up a solid effort, Brian’s bench would’ve been enough to win the game on its own.

Waiver Move of the Week
Regular Johnson
Add QB Matt Ryan, Drop QB Brock Osweiler
SCALE 1 to 10:

Matt Ryan was just sitting on the waivers waiting to be scooped up as the league’s top scorer. Johnson made a smart, levelheaded leadership decision and picked him up. The Roster addition and move to start Ryan over Luck netted 8 points in a close matchup for rights to the name Pat.

Bad Luck of the Week
Mister Meeseks
9 Guys, 53 Points

Not many people had as rough a week as Ryan Fitzpatrick (see above) but Phil came close. Delanie Walker missed practice Friday, Carson Palmer mustered up 4 INTS and 2.4 points, RBs and WRs 1+ 2 go for just 100 yards each position. Even Dan Bailey had a rough week. Sometimes fantasy makes you feel sad.

Week 4 At A Glance
Harrisonburg 21-16 @ Genderfluid Nonbinary
Atlanta’s Backfield matches up with a dynamic receiving corps + Joe’s celebrity RB pickup. Much intrigue

Mister Meeseeks @ Can I Play Baseball Now?
Meeseeks was a mess last week

But the return of Le’Veon Bell brings hopes to a roster in need of some life.

Much like anyone with a team built around Tebow, Sam is still looking for answers at QB and a second win on the year.
Skittle Monster (Regular Johnson) @ Free Kodak
Kodak came close but he’s gonna have to shoot the judge a few more chips this week to pull it out. Derek Carr and a strong WR unit have kept the team afloat early.

Meanwhile, Monster has been surging behind LeGarrette Blount and the reunion tour of Carlos Hyde and Ezekiel Elliot

I’m not looking forward to having to flip 1-5 into 7-5 again this year but hey, let’s do it.
Kings of Leon @ Winterfell Wolves
Running back moves backfired on the Kings last weekend.

21 points off the bench from surprise contributors Tavon Austin and Darren Sproles were greatly needed by the roster. Things don’t get easier with a game against the league point leader but still, the points are there to be found.

Dicks Out For Harambe @ That Ho Over Myah
Life has been tough with a bench that is entirely Out or Suspended. The light at the end of the tunnel is near but isn’t quite here. P But is still waiting for GronkTouchdownPartyTime

The return of Bell threatens to bring a big dip to core player DeAngelo “Pink Tips” value, making this week a prime opportunity for Butler’s first win of the season.

That’s all for this week. Try to stay on top on roster management as the season hits the quarter mark. The fun, new, exciting aura of the season will begin to wear off and it’s going to get easier to take weeks off, try not to. The league really is only fun if it’s competitive, half of that battle is simply not letting teams turn into decaying Terri Schiavo's being managed by tapped out owners who had a bummed out year. Eventually P But won’t inhabit the number 1 waiver spot (or hopefully he will if we’re all lucky) and you’ll be able to slide in and make the same questionable waiver moves yourself ;)
Stay strong, have fun (just kidding lose to me and be miserable) and, as always, if you have any questions or need any help, feel free to get ahold of Butler or me.
