"Felt like I died and woke up. And died again. I was like a cat. I had multiple lives." – Jon Gruden on the Raiders MNF win

2 down

12 to go

Another solid week in the books gang, so far so good. Slowly but surely we’re learning these teams.

Week 3, as usual, is the first DIVISIONAL CROSSOVER week of the season! Play for Conference Pride! Fight for Colonel Whinnacker T. Bootnrally and the Waffl Haus Bois who came before you! Fight for Ensign Eric J. Enema who gave his life for the Klismaphiles years ago!

Do it for Narnia!

We’re almost through 1 month of the JPFL Season! Soon it will be September… the magic number to make the playoffs still looks like it will be 7. Find 7 wins on your schedule and work from there. Which teams SHOULD you beat? which teams CAN you beat? How many of each do you see the rest of the way. Know which games are MUST-HAVES: teams you’re outperforming, teams you’ll potentially be tied record-wise with in December.

The road is long, you have many chances to get your 7 wins.

Some notables this week"

  • PAcTion (IN SPACE) taking place as the Butler Pirates look to even the all-time series up at 4.

  • The other Butler, Nick (though considering he's the one who is 2-0 maybe Pat should be called “the other Butler”) has a chance to even his series with Brian at 2 as well. Could be a big weekend for the collective JPFL pride of the Butler family.

  • Brian is also looking for his 50th regular season win all time this weekend!

I’m currently in an RV on the backroads of Delaware making my way to Firefly music fest for a Commissioners Meeting. My comments will be brief but hopefully just as entertaining. Maybe if you’re lucky we’ll get a live post-TNF/ Sunday Morning Podcast as well to make up for it.

Pod this week is good though, think we got another banger.

We’ve got a TANTALIZING matchup between the Panthers and Texans tonight to get the weekend poppin! Can Tyrod Taylor make it back-to-back TNF wins for JPFL approved QBs?

Without further ado.

Week 2 Game Gifs

Big Dick Nicks 125.55 @ Kings of Leon 90.85

It was the B’s over the L’s as BDN claimed Nick supremacy (until the rematch in week 8):

The Secret Society of Train Runners 136.25 @ Genderfluid Nonbinary 86.6

The train gang picked up some steam while the Genderfluids made a 180 in the power department:

The Butler Space Pirates of Planet Cuck 9 156.2 @ Harrisonburg 21-16 210.15

The Butler Pirates had their full arsenal on display this weekend, Jacob still found a hole in the armor and came out on top:

Ollie’s Trollies 126.55 @ The Fellas 129.1

It was closer than he would’ve liked, but Brian and the Fellas pulled things out on Monday night:

TETRAHYDRO CHUCKABINOL 111.7 @ The Lockett Rocket 124.8

Chuck burned his brightest blaze and pushed the Rockets to the brink, but ultimately, the rocketeers harnessed the power of the weed and it only made them smarter:

Game of the Week

A big matchup between 1-1 teams looking to reinsert themselves into the league’s top end at 2-1!

The Secret Society is hot off a big win over the Nonbinaries, scoring back-to-back weeks in the 120-130 range. It’ll take a lot more than that to be the early season Juggernaut that is Harrisonburg 21-16.

The 12-16ers are fresh off the highest score of the season, a monstrous 210 that came dangerously close to setting a new all-time JPFL Scoring record!

Will the Trains keep on rolling? Or will the Dangerous Dukes post another seismic Sunday performance?

Harrisonburg leads the all-time series 5-4.

This game is being played in at noon on FOX as part of the JPFL BIG NUDE KICKOFF, turn your TVs to channel 110 to watch.

Good luck, everyone! I love you all! have a super fun weekend!
